Finding himself alone again and somewhat lost in life as well as the vast wilderness with nowhere to go and no one to look to our main character has reached the end and feels he no longer has the fight in him to continue. A great storm is approaching and instead of finding shelter he simply falls to his knees and breaks down.
Pity Me
Broken by the cards that life’s dealt me
As you can clearly see
I’ve lost the game again
Now all I beg is for some dignity
An ounce of sympathy
Oh pity me
Once again, I’ve let myself down
My intentions were sound
So quick to place blame on me
Now all I beg is for some dignity
An ounce of sympathy
Oh pity me
Time moves slower now
When you’ve been knocked down
And there is no fight in me
Please just let me sleep
To myself I’ll keep
Because I haven’t the strength to face the morn
-Orchestral Break-
Time moves slower now
When you’ve been knocked down
And there is no fight in me
Please just let me sleep
To myself I’ll keep
Because I haven’t the strength to face the morn
Ill at ease, so insecure
I feel weak, can’t take anymore
Wonder could I, be stronger than before
Or simply choose not to brave the storm
Now all I beg is for some company
To believe in me
Oh pity me
-End-
