Track 05: Genevieve

Elemantis-Genevieve.png
  • STATUS: Ready for Isaiah and Aaron

  • MUSIC: Charley Urso

  • It has now been many years since our main character has come to terms with himself, his past and his future. He has found a quaint house in a village and night work. To say he no longer feeds on humans would be a lie. He has managed to get by on animal blood for long periods of time. He is trying his best to make the future he once promised himself and Emma and through this has met a woman named Genevieve and is quite taken with her and her with him. They have grown very close and she begins to have her suspicions of what he may be. They begin to be drawn to each other more and more and he admits to what he is. She now is fighting within herself as she tries to decide what she ultimately wants. (Guest vocalist)

Genevieve

I lay here under starry skies trying not to think of you

Lost in my own troubled mind wondering what I should do

I walk alone yet another night pondering past mistakes

It’s only when I am by your side do those hauntings drift away

Until you return to me

My unbeaten heart won’t rest in peace

Genevieve

Let me be by your side

I’m afraid of my reply

Then allow me to ease your fright

And put your hand in mine

Forever we’ll dance in the moonlight

I find myself rushing towards you though my mind it tells me no

Although I have not a bit of warmth your touch chills me to the bone

Until you return to me

My unbeaten heart won’t rest in peace

Genevieve

Let me be by your side

I’m afraid of my reply

Then allow me to ease your fright

And put your hand in mine

Forever we’ll dance in the moonlight

Among the shadows we waltz together tonight

I cannot avoid your gaze no matter how hard I try

Genevieve

Let me be by your side

I’m afraid of my reply

Then allow me to ease your fright

And put your hand in mine

Forever we’ll dance in the moonlight

Eternally by my side

Let our burdened pasts die

Two children of the night

Seeing with new eyes

Forever dancing in the moonlight
