Finally having hit rock bottom our main character takes shelter from the storm in a cave. The rain begins to fall and shortly the sun will be rising. He is strongly contemplating if he should walk out and feel the sun one last time ending his wretched existence. While he watches the 1st drops of rain fall he searches his soul deeply for answers and the strength to carry on or the strength to end it all.

Watching little drops of rain
From here they look the same
Lost inside my memories
Contemplating what could be
I only wish that I could see
The man that I used to be
Falling down
Courageous and proud
United as one
Surrounded but alone
Hesitation on my mind
Burdens I’ve carried through time
I’ve so many questions why
As I watch the rain reflecting the light

Ease my mind
For I can’t this time
Knowing I have lost it all
And in my Hell alone dwell
Please take my fright
And help me last through the night
Under the light of my midnight sun
I know in the end I’ll fall alone
Watching little drops of rain
From here they look the same
One drop must lead the way
Uncertain and afraid
Am I ready to face the day?
Strong enough to find my way
Am I that first drop of rain?
Am I?
